Is a wine solely made in the village of Luzzi, a small town situated on the lower slopes of the Sila National Park. According to the Regulations, the poer grapes used for the production of this wine must come from local vineyards, either for the production of the red, white and rosé, therefore is a wine made from many non-native varieties of which some of them come from the Sangiovese. The San Vito di Luzzi Doc wine has a minimum alcohol content ranging from 10.5 degrees to 11.5 degrees either for the white or the red. The white has a yellowish colour with a more or less intense flavour and pleasant aroma. The red has an intense dry flavour and velvety red colour, the rosé is a mild aroma and flavour although dry, cool and elegant with a minimum alcohol content of 11 degrees.
